Are the rugs and shearling on your site real and one-of-a-kind?
Yes. Each rug and each shearling is a real, one-of-a-kind piece sourced individually from established suppliers. The rug or shearling shown on the product page is the exact item you will receive.
Are your products vintage or newly made?
Our collection includes both vintage and made-to-order pieces. Each product page specifies whether it is vintage or made to order, if applicable.
What materials are used?
Most rugs are made from natural fibers such as wool or wool-cotton blends. Material details are listed on each product page where available. Shearling are made from genuine suede and sheep fur; additional animal fur may be attached per the design.
Photography & Appearance
How are rugs photographed and presented?
Each rug is shown using a combination of styled images for context and close-up detail images to show texture, pile, and condition. Styled images help visualize how a rug may appear in a space, while detail views provide the most accurate reference for material characteristics.
Will the rug look exactly like the photos?
Color and tone may vary depending on lighting conditions, surrounding colors, and screen calibration. Natural fibers and handwoven materials can reflect light differently throughout the day.
Sourcing, Inspection & Quality
Are rugs inspected before shipping?
Yes. All rugs are received and inspected for condition, dimensions, and overall quality prior to final shipment.
Do vintage rugs show signs of wear?
Vintage rugs may show natural wear consistent with age and use. These variations are part of their character and are reflected in detail images and descriptions to the extent possible.
Ordering & Payment
Are purchases final sale?
Yes. Because each item is a one-of-a-kind piece that is individually sourced and inspected, all sales are final.
Do you offer a way to view a rug more closely before purchasing?
For select rugs, we offer a non-refundable Sourcing & Inspection Hold, which secures the rug, covers inspection and inbound shipping, and includes a private video walkthrough prior to final purchase. If you proceed, the hold is applied to the final price.
Production & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Most rugs require approximately 12–16 weeks from order to delivery. This includes sourcing or weaving, export, customs clearance, inspection, and final shipment.
Where do you ship from?
All products are sourced internationally and shipped to our U.S. location for inspection before final delivery to you. We are also working on expanding our footprint to Canada.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship within the United States, and soon, Canada. International shipping may be added in the future.
Shipping & Damage
Are shipments insured?
Yes. All shipments are insured to protect against loss or damage in transit.
What if my rug arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or materially different from its description, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can investigate and work with the carrier where applicable.
What are Majlis Seating Sets?
Majlis Seating Sets are textile seating components designed for floor or platform use. They are sold as complete sets and do not include furniture, foams, or frames. Cafes and other cultural restaurants may contact us for special rates.
Are other products returnable?
Unfortunately, no. All items are final sale.
